Sony Europa president David Reeves zal aan het einde van deze maand het bedrijf verlaten. Zijn opvolger voor de positie van president en CEO van SCEE wordt Andrew House, momenteel bij Sony werkzaam als "chief marketing officer and group executive."
David Reeves is de afgelopen 14 jaar werkzaam geweest voor Sony Europa en volgens de laatste geruchten gaat hij nu aan de slag bij de Schotse ontwikkelaar Realtime Worlds. Kaz Hirai, president van SCE, was Reeves erg dankbaar voor zijn werk en liet het volgende weten:

Reeves sloot zich in 1995 aan bij Sony Duitsland, Oosterijk en Zwitserland, alvorens hij verhuisde naar de UK. In 2003 werd hij benoemd tot president en COO, en CEO van Sony Europa twee jaar later. Opvolger House kwam in 1990 bij Sony en spendeerde vijf jaar in Japan, alvorens hij als VP van marketing naar Sony Amerika kwam in 1996. In 2005 werd House benoemd tot CMO, om zo de globale marketing bij te houden. Met zijn nieuwe rol zal hij verantwoordelijk zijn voor meer dan 100 landen in de Europese en PAL gebieden, en houdt hij zich bezig met de PS3, PSP, PSN en PS2 bussines.
