Ubisoft komt met Uplay
Ubisoft komt met de release van Assassins Creed II met hun eigen achievements, genaamd Uplay. Dit zijn rewards waarmee je daadwerkelijk wat kunt "winnen". Je krijgt namelijk bij verschillende acties die je in een game doet een bepaald aantal punten. Met deze punten kan je verschillende dingen unlocken zoals thema's voor je console, maar ook wapens en andere gadgets.

''Uplay Win helps you... win! It's designed to give you the edge in the games you play already by offering up the chance to claim great free content like extra weapons and maps. Along the way, you'll get deeper into each game and experience more excitement than ever before.

Here's how it works. By completing Actions, you earn Units that you can use to claim your choice of Rewards from a stack of downloadable goodies across the Xbox 360®, PlayStation® 3 system and PC. Each Action is a task that's already part of the game. So, it might be claiming territories, finding the assassin's tomb or solving a tricky section.''
