Sony onthult PS3 Video Service voor Europa
Sony heeft zojuist de Video Service voor Europa aangekondigd. De service stelt je in staat om voor de PS3 en PSP films te downloaden vanaf het PlayStation Network. Een lancering staat gepland voor november in Frankrijk, Duitsland, Spanje en de UK. Meer Europese landen volgen in 2010.

Filmmaatschappijen die ondersteuning gaan bieden voor de service zijn 20th Century Fox, Disney-ABC-ESPN Television1, Lionsgate2, Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer (MGM), Paramount Pictures, Sony Pictures, Starz Media2, Universal, Warner Bros en nog aan aantal lokale studio's.

De titels die vanaf dag 1 beschikbaar zijn:

* Angels & Demons
* Casino Royale
* Crank 2: High Voltage
* Hannah Montana: The Movie
* Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince
* Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs
* The Hills Have Eyes
* Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen
